The access time to the Sian Ka ´an Biosphere Reserve is from 8am to 6pm, you must go through the CONANP (National Commission of Protected Natural Areas) where a bracelet of $100 MXN is charged. Our front desk hours are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, during which our team will be available to assist you with any needs, from activity recommendations to organizing excursions and transportation. Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve is located just off State Highway 15. The access to Punta Allen from Tulum is via coastal path that, although picturesque, is mostly rough terrain and can be challenging, especially in rainy conditions. This journey, stretching for approximately 42 kilometers, offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and the jungle, but we recommend high or four wheel drive vehicles for comfort and safety. This tour, although it can take about 2 hours, is part of the unique experience of reaching such a remote and preserved destination, where nature remains the protagonist. Our team is available at reception from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m to support our guests with detailed information about access to Sian Ka'an, either by private or collective transportation. Punta Allen is a quaint and tranquil fishing village at the southern end of the Sian Ka'an Reserve. With sandy streets and surrounded by mangroves and the Caribbean, it is an ideal destination for ecotourism. Known for its sustainable lobster fishing, it is also a key point for sport fishing. It is home to thousands of species of flora and fauna, the second largest reef barrier in the world and a natural pool with turquoise water. We also ask you to bring biodegradable repellent and blocker. It is suggested that guests arrive before 8:00 pm due to the fact that the Terracería path of the Reservation is usually delayed. ***IMPORTANT*** FOR THE CONDITIONS OF ACCESS, TAKE TIME PRESENCES, THE TOUR TO ENTER THE RESERVATION IS OF TERRACERIA. IT IS 42 KM TO REACH THE HOTEL, BUT IN TIME YOU WILL DO APPROXIMATELY 3 HOURS BY CAR. We suggest the public bus service for stays of more than 2 nights, since due to the road conditions a journey of almost 4 hours is made to get to the hotel. You can take the bus from the Union of Red Shark Taxi Drivers in Tulum Centro.
